THE BIG IDEA
We desire to be a lighthouse where community gathering inside begins outside. An inviting front porch extends our welcome to those arriving by car, by bus, or on foot. “Hello” happens sooner and “goodbye” lingers longer. Kids play and friends meet in a big backyard that celebrates the neighborhood’s heartbeat.
We reimagine doorways as portals into a place where hope is found, faith is built, and households are strengthened. Our interior embraces our open and rugged Pacific Northwest surroundings. The lobby flows into spaces cultivated for real conversation, group interaction, and worshiping together.
Enhancements to our kids and teen environments
reinforce the value we place on preparing the next generation to spiritually thrive.
We stand on the legacy of those who have gone before us with confidence that the best is always in front of us.
THE PURPOSE
We desire to have a vibrant location where we welcome those who are pursuing God, gather to worship, grow in faith, and build lasting relationships.
THE wisdom
“…build my house, so that I may take pleasure in it and be honored…”
Haggai 1:8
THE FOCUS
Our blueprint is to improve dated portions of our Lancaster location – expanding the capacity, usability and safety of children’s areas; reimagining spaces for teenagers and young adults; making it easier to move through the building; and enhancing existing environments to better cultivate community (and, yes, we know some of our bathrooms need updating).
