What we collect

  • For online giving, phone number and address

What we do with the information we gather

We require this information to understand your needs and provide you with a better service, and in particular for the following reasons:

  • For contact forms, we will only use your information to respond to your questions or comments.
  • For online giving, we will only use your information to process gifts and for calculating charitable giving totals.
  • For one-time online gifts, no credit or debit card information is saved once the transaction is completed.  For recurring gifts, credit or debit card information is securely encrypted.
  • We will never sell your information or share it with any third party, except for the purposes of completed a requested transaction.

Security
We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure.  In order to prevent unauthorized access or disclosure we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.

All online giving pages use digitally-signed SSL encryption to ensure that your financial information is kept private.

How we use cookies

Peoples Church does not use cookies.  Our online giving provider, (PushPay), does use cookies in the operating of their giving pages.

PushPay uses traffic log cookies to identify which pages are being used.  This helps them analyze data about web page traffic and improve their website in order to tailor it to customer needs.  They only this information for statistical analysis purposes and then the data is removed from the system.

A cookie in no way gives us access to your computer or any information about you, other than the data you choose to share.

You can choose to accept or decline cookies.  Most web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can usually modify your browser setting to decline cookies if you prefer.  This may prevent you from taking full advantage of the online giving portion of our website.
